Dog Torture?
Poor Cali – she puts up with a “mom” who loves to do “goofy” things to her. The hardest part is getting her to stay still and to keep her tongue in her mouth. As you can see, the tongue part isn’t easy to do!
The weather has been wonderful – sunny and warm. The only problem is the wind that picks up in the afternoon. It reminds me of New Mexico. Yesterday I read the Portland Sunday paper and most of a novel entitled “The Secret Life of Bees.” I usually give away books after I’ve read them, but this book was an unusual treat.Â
Speaking of treats, the coffee shop manager is ordering treats from a vendor and talking about carrot cake, cheesecake, etc…Â
I’m off to do a little thrift store exploring and then take a drive over near the state parks and walk with Cali along the beach. I can’t believe how beautiful the weather has been.
I’ve been using the WiFi at this wonderful coffee shop called Kaffe 101. I usually have a bagel with cream cheese and coffee while using the Internet. It’s become a daily habit here in Coos Bay.
