It was a “Sunny Saturday” here in the desert Southwest. I frequented my usual coffee house for a bagel and a latte and then went “exploring” for things to photograph. I ended up going to Old Mesilla and shooting lots of doors. However, walking by a little park I could resist taking a photo of my new Keen Malibu’s. They’re super comfortable and I love the nebula (a.k.a. purple) color!

The Amphora Fountain at the Getty Center
The Amphora Fountain is carved into travertine walls and uses ancient form to create a modern grotto. Water flows through the occulus of the Amphora Fountain from a runnel in the terrace above.

On a cruise of the Mexican Riviera, I went horseback riding on Mazatlán. My horse was always lagging behind and wouldn’t go very fast. “Conejito” (Bunny) was said to be lazy, but I liked him just fine!
