Clean, Clean, Clean!
Yesterday was a cleaning day. I took the RV to a car wash and washed it inside and out. In the afternoon, Cali and I went to a state park and I took a really long, nice, hot, shower. The only thing that wasn’t clean was Cali. However, before we left the park I took Cali down to the beach to run. (The ranger said it was OK.) Cali promptly ran down the beach and jumped in the water – again and again. The only word that expresses what she was doing (and that I couldn’t capture in a photo) was “frolicking” in the waves. It was a joy to watch her play and have so much fun. I only wish that her friend from last summer (Hannah) had been there to play with her. After her “play” I had to rinse her off with clean water from one of the pumps in the park. Her antics brought a smile to my face…
Today I’m off to Folsom, California (near Sacramento) to attend the 4th of July RV “shindig.” I’m sure that the weather will be warmer, but it will be fun to visit with some of my “RV friends!”

Dogs and water. There’s nothing like them.
When I as 10 or so and visiting my Grandparents in GA. The neighbors had a black lab who would try to save me as ran jumped off the edge of the dock. If you didn’t come right back to the dock the dog would jump in after you and try to bring you back. She was a great dog.
You can tell that Cali is having a blast!
Clean is good! I’m sure it felt good to have a long hot shower. I’d hate to give up my long soaks in the tub.
Have a good time in Folsom- It always reminds me of the song “Folsom Prison Blues” whenever I hear someone mention Folsom.
Cali and Hannah did have a great time playing together last season in Oregon…Cali would love it here, too….have not spent much time at a water venue yet…most on trails in woods…the shore at the campground is totally large rock…Hannah just skims over them to get to the water…Sophie has a harder time…fell yesterday bumping her little hips…enjoy the 4th of July with your buds in the RV thing…if you change your mind…come to the other side of the US for a Maine experience…miss you and Cali…
It’s so lovely to be at the beachfront, and we all know kids and dogs like it so much.
A RV meeting near Sacramento: Great – we were there last August. Visiting family.
And my second Cousin Bob do have a large RV. I do think it’s about 36-38 feet long, and when parking, both bedroom and living room can be enlarged. It was really impressing, as we do not have anything the like over here in Europe.
Have a great ¤th of July;)
PS. Did you know our Queen, will celebrate her 70 Birthday on the the same day?
Lovely. Cali looks so happy!
Take care!
I love watching doggies play in the water
I think my little hot dog is still too small to get in the water.
