what a great thought…..sometimes we become so isolated (superficially connected)from other humans that we forget that it is hard for all of us….and we think it is just us having a hard time and we feel like a whimp….

I adore both orchids and Georgia! That is a wonderful quote. I need reminders like that.

  6. Amazing amazing amazing! I love that picture. I can’t say as I’ve seen that one before. Is it hers?

Yeah, we are so focused on our fears that we forget to think rationally at times and do what we have to do. Our fears should be reasons why we try to do our best, not just overcome and conquer the fears but to be able to live life the way we want to. We dont live because of these fears.

I also liked the picture and the quote. Please don’t take this the wrong way but I have a silly question. Is the picture doctored in any way? It may just be a subconscious thing, but is that a stereotypical alien at the top of the flower? After looking again, I guess it isn’t because the pic shows rouge on its cheeks and a mans suit. It’s funny how the mind works sometimes.

I’m afraid your mind is working – overtime! This is actually a macro photo that I took of an orchid onboard the ms Oosterdam. I only “slightly” tweaked (intensified) the saturation. There is no “diamond dusting,” no superimposed alien, etc… I did crop and align the photo, but those are basic adjustments. Orchids are complex and mysterious flowers!
