Manic Monday

Manic Monday is hosted by the incomparable Fleur de Lisa

Do good things come to those who wait?

  • While it seems that some people live “charmed lives,” the majority of us have to work for “good things.”
You are never given a wish without being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however.
    - from “Illusions, The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah”

Your best friend’s spouse is being unfaithful. Would you tell your friend? If so, how?

  • The spouse will eventually find out. If I did “tell,” it would be in an anonymous manner. Friendships have been destroyed over lesser matters…

Which part of your body do you like the least? Would you change it through plastic surgery, if possible?

  • My upper arms aren’t as toned as I’d like them to be, although I can only work on one at the moment. I’ve actually lost ten pounds and would be in pretty good shape if everything were more toned.

Love the reference to “Illusions”. One of my favorite books. Reminds me that I have to read it again!

That book sounds interesting! I might have to look it up when we get settled.

I would totally have a tummy tuck….after major “girl” surgery, then two kids in 16 months….well, things aren’t as toned as they could be.

Nice answers! Mine is up as well. Hope you can visit me :)

    Have a wonderful Monday!

I do work hard for all the things I get, but I still believe that patience can also be rewarded.

Here is my post. Happy Manic Monday!

Oh, I love your answer to #1. And that quote is divine. I think I may send that to a friend.

I hope you had a nice relaxing long weekend!

  6. Ok, the part of the body I like least is my stomach. Not because I’m just a tad overweight, but because the Wyatt fat of being pregnant and the stretch marks really are not that attractive. I wish I’d really thought about stretch marks more when I was pregnant….

I totally agree with number 1. I’ve always had to work super hard to make my wishes come true. And they have and do, but it is an up hill battle.

    1. Do good things come for those who wait? Yeah, but the waiting period can be awfully difficult.

    2. If it were my BEST FRIEND FOREVER, I’d have to tell her that I knew. It would be worse betrayal for her to find out and then find out that I knew the entire time.

    3. I’d trade in my legs in a heartbeat. I cannot stand my thunder thighs.
