Pick out the most important item you have in your purse/wallet and tell me why it’s important to you.
- Unfortunately, at the moment it’s my Blue Cross-Blue Shield medical insurance card. It’s gotten a work out since I broke my wrist. And there’s more to come…
What would you take from your house if you knew it would be flooded tomorrow?
- Cali (of course), my late mother’s wedding ring set, my camera equipment and photos, my laptop, my wine collection, and my cross collection (collected from gifts, vacations, etc…) The rest of the “stuff” could be replaced.
If you were stuck in a room for an hour with a chalk board, what would you draw on it?
- Absolutely nothing. I got my fill of chalkboard dust from my years of teaching elementary school.

I doubt you’ll see a photographer leave their camera off the list for question #2! We have to be able to take photos of the flooding after all!
Still have your external fixation on your wrist? I was sooo happy when they finally removed the “outriggers” from my ankle.
My Mom gave her diamond to my brother when she passed, since my Grandmother (Dad’s Mom) had given me hers
Cameras, most definitely! I’m with Michael in that none of us are going to depart without that!
My mother just gave me a mother’s ring that was given to her by her mother, my grandmother. I can’t wear it because it’s much to big, but I treasure it.
Totally get the chalkboard…..way too many years in the classroon.
oops, classrooM
Your answer to the last one is right one. I woulnd’t want to listen to the chalk on the board much less deal with the dust either.
Family photos would be the main thing I’d take. Plus my small backup hard drive where so many photos and other things are stored. Oh, and I’d also put Ed in the car – just in case!
