Manic Monday (on a Tuesday…)
is hosted by Fleur-de-Lisa
If you were to name the one thing you have the most compassion for, what would it be?
- The disenfranchised – people (or groups) that should be provided certain rights, but for whatever reason those rights are denied.
It’s been said that, “The best things in life are free.” Do you think this is true?
- I would edit the phase to say, “”Many of the best things in life are free.” There are certain things in our lives that we take for granted and certainly need to recognize. However, certain “comforts” often come with a “price tag.”
What is the most valuable thing you own?
- The item that has the most emotional value is my late mother’s wedding ring set. The monetary item that I currently own (well, I’m paying for it) would be my home.

Like your editing of the phrase in #2. So many things, like good mental and physical health, are “free” except for those people without health insurance. And love is wonderful, but can cause unfair challenges for people who aren’t in “socially acceptable groups”.
Most compassion for: the elderly
The best things in life might be monetarily free, but they are not necessarily free from headaches!!
Most valuable thing I own has to be all the jewelry my mother gave me.
What a precious thing to have……!
It’s so wonderful that you have your mother’s rings. That is very precious indeed.
