Reevaluation
It seems that if we have the grace to live long enough, we come to crossroads in our lives – maybe several times. At those times, we have to ask ourselves the “hard questions.” Am I living or surviving, feeding my soul or on a collision course to being emotionally and spiritually bankrupt, making a difference or coasting through the years of life?
I’m exhausted – mentally, physically, and spiritually. If I don’t take care of myself, no one will do it for me. In the most “personal” part of this post, I think that’s been a life-long problem for me – thinking that people are basically good and that on one would kick me when “I was down.” The truth is that not everyone will actually “kick” you, but sometimes apathy is worse than outright “evilness.” I was naive to think that everyone was “good.”
In order not to let people “harm” me, my posts for a time will be password protected. If you’d like to be “on the list” send me an e-mail” and I’ll send you the password. It goes without saying that some individuals won’t be receiving the “magic word.” I’m not good yet, but I’m better – and I plan to protect myself…

You have my e-mail so please put me on your list.
people are mean. i know firsthand. protect yourself and your feelings anyone you see fit. life is too short to deal with hatefulness!
I’m sorry for the troubles your going through. Seems more and more like out top priority in life is to take care of our”self”.
If possible, I would like to be able to receive the magic word. And even though promises probably don’t mean much to you right now, I do promise not to hurt you or anyone.
I really hope you feel better soon.
In case you don’t remember me, I was the one that jokenly asked if you put that UFO alien in one of your pictures.
No, not everyone is good. Sometimes the world is just as much of a terrible place as it seems too. I’ll send you a note.
