Feeding My Soul…
What’s a girl to do after finding out that a potential relationship isn’t worth the effort? Well, pick your own damn flowers and have a glass of vino with your pup at your feet. Note: I “usually” don’t drink wine from such unusual glasses, but traveling + wine glasses don’t seem to mix.
Strangely enough, a fellow WIN (who I met at the dance rally) and I are discussing planning on going to Portland a day or two early to dance on Friday and Saturday evening. Yay! Sunday, I’m seeing Ottmar Liebert again at the Aladdin Theatre so it should be a fun weekend.
As for “JB,” I’ve actually talked it through with someone and they’ve helped me realize how toxic the relationship was and how lucky I am to be away from him. I’m not unhappy like I was when I was with him. F*ck people that hate dogs anyway… Life is “good” and I’m not wasting another second worrying about an “incomplete” individual.

Yay for heading up early to Portland and catching the OL concert? Is your friend joining you for the show? Lovely flowers, which remind me that I need to treat myself this weekend and do the same. You know I’ve seen the same wine a few times and wondered if it was any good! Will have to add that to my list for the weekend as well. Yes, life is good and we need to celebrate it every day. I always remember this quote… “Work like you don’t need money, Love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one’s watching.”
I see healthy self coming shining through….healthy self will attract a healthy self….Cali, dancing, wine and music….the cure all…….thank you to the person who talked you through this…….you didn’t have another minute to waste….love you….kiss Cali for me xoxoxo
What a crystal clear photo shot! Nice! And yeah, “F people that don’t like dogs!” I agree!
Hey, that is just about the same glass I have in my old “post secret” style photo.
I’m so glad you’re going to Portland. Enjoy!
I agree with your sentiment on those who don’t like dogs!
Nothing wrong with buying yourself flowers! I do it all the time and it always makes me feel better. And, yes, your friend is right – it’s good that you got out of that relationship while the gettin’ was good. The longer you stay in a bad relationship, the more the norm it becomes and the harder it gets for you to see the “other side” and to extricate yourself. Trust me, I speak from experience!
I like the attitude in this picture and post!
Did you ever see the white menage a trois? It really is a good white everyday table wine.
