It’s odd that this summer I haven’t had the feeling that I’ve had “time for myself” – rather time to think about life, or recharge my “spiritual batteries” so to speak.  It seems that I put my interests aside for a time being and ignored my interior life.
However, the past few days have been idyllic – I’ve done some reading (Deepak Chopra – The Path to Love:  Spiritual Strategies for Healing – I highly recommend reading it!), walked with Cali, and edited some photos.  At last I’ve even meditated and prayed – something that doesn’t come easy for me. Last night I had dinner and did some reading by candlelight with a glass of wine. I patted the sofa in my RV and up Cali jumped. She snuggled next to me as I read.  It was a perfect evening by my standards.
Speaking of wine, I’ve found a very drinkable “new favorite.” Ménage à Trois Red is a very nice “all around wine” and very drinkable at about $12.00/per bottle. It’s an unusual mix of Zinfadel, Merlot, and Cabernet. It’s spicy, but soft – delicious!
So thanks to all that know and care about (love) me – your concern feels like a warm blanket that enfolds me. Your private and public notes, phone calls, and e-mails make all the difference…

So glad that you’re getting the time you wanted. And I’ve had that wine and it is good! Enjoy!
