Sunny “Coastie” on the Oregon Coast
It’s a beautiful day on the Oregon Coast. This is the view from my RV window compliments of Three Rivers Casino. Not only was I able to park for free, I actually won 1,000 spins on a slot machine and walked away with $379.00. OK, even though I won I still like to play and can say that I’ve just about “broken even.” Hey, it COSTS MONEY to play unless you’re extremely lucky.
So, I’ve puttered around and found some fabulous finds in the local thrift stores. Last night I cooked one of those complete in the bag things that you stir fry and had a yummy little salad with avocado. (There’s an amazing store called Grocery Outlet that has some amazing things…) I had bought a little bag of a dozen of the smallest avocados I’ve ever seen. They were just right for one on a salad. Oh yes, and I did find a delicious Pinot Noir called “Three Degrees” from McMinnville.
I’m in the laundry with free WiFi. (You have to wash all those thrift store finds!) In a day or so, I’m traveling up the coast to meet my friend Steven. He’s also a member of my WIN RV club. No romantic callings, but we do like to talk together, watch movies, and drink wine. Oh yeah, he’s also a GREAT dancer, so I’m hoping we can find a venue in Lincoln City to dance.
