Tophat – No Tails…
No sun, marine layer, light misting of rain. Yep, I think it’s time to move on from the coast to sunnier and warmer environs.
Last night I went to “The Big Gay Variety Show” hosted at the casino by Oregon Coast Pride. It wasn’t very well attended, and I went with fellow WIN’s Anne and Kurt (who managed to spill their “organic vodka” martini on the table). 
The best part of the evening was standup comedian Belinda Carroll (but I loathed her choice in shoes – they looked like little cloven hoofs on her feet). After the show, I took my free $5.00 in slot play that I received with my $10.00 ticket, snagged a Rogue Dead Guy ale from the bar and played nickel Keno until I “broke even.”

Texas is nice to visit in the fall! Sometimes you get all four seasons in week!
Only downfall is no casino thanks to the Republicans who believe that kind of behavior is of ill repute! BUT from Houston, Delta Downs is only 2.5 hours away!
